My style is influenced greatly by the many places and cultures I have seen and experienced, and photography provides me with an excuse to continue exploring this beautiful world. Another great influence on my photography has been my father and grandfather, as they are/were photography enthusiasts. I have my grandfather’s camera on display in my home, and I think it is this heritage that draws me to vintage lenses and “old school” techniques and styles.

I really started getting serious about photography in 2001 when I bought my first semi-professional DSLR with a whopping 5 megapixels. I initially got into photography to support my career as a website developer, graphic designer and computer training instructor. Now photography is a passionate hobby of mine, but it also supports me in my career as an established and successful instructional designer.
